Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4 Unveils Brutal Ork vs. Blood Ravens Clash in 2026
German studio King Art Games has unveiled Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4, set for release in 2026. The first CGI trailer introduces a fierce battle between the Orks and the Blood Ravens. Fans of the franchise can expect a mix of strategy and lore-driven storytelling.
The Bremen-based developer, known for Iron Harvest (2020), is handling the project with a team of around 100. This latest instalment will expand the universe with five playable factions and cinematic trailers woven into the gameplay.
The debut trailer focuses on Gorgutz 'Ead 'Unter, the Ork warlord, leading a brutal assault on a Blood Ravens starship. Chief Librarian Jonah Orion and Captain Cyrus command the defence, but the battle turns desperate. As the ship falls under Ork control, the Space Marines make a last stand before retreating to the planet Kronus.
Five factions will be playable at launch: Orks, Blood Ravens, Dark Angels, Adeptus Mechanicus, and Necrons. Each will receive its own CGI trailer, blending narrative depth with strategic gameplay. The studio has confirmed a 2026 release window, though the exact date remains unannounced.
King Art Games, which previously developed Iron Harvest, brings experience in real-time strategy to the project. Their team in Bremen is dedicated to delivering both cinematic storytelling and tactical combat for this long-awaited sequel.
The game’s reveal trailer sets the stage for a conflict spanning space and ground battles. Players will explore Kronus through multiple factions, each with distinct strategies and lore. Dawn of War 4 aims to merge deep storytelling with the series’ signature tactical gameplay when it arrives in 2026.
