According to the Altai Regional Hydrometeorological Center, the weather forecast for the region has been shared with a "BR" correspondent. Residents should not expect warm temperatures for the rest of the week, as the forecast does not predict temperatures above +20 degrees Celsius.

This autumn-like weather seems to have replaced the summer season in the Altai region. Interestingly, a tornado was reported in the region recently, on August 1, 2025. According to the 2025 European tornado season records, a tornado was documented that "mowed down" a section of forest in Altai. This confirms the occurrence of a tornado in the area during this period, which also aligns with the reported weather conditions involving cold snaps, rain, and wind.
Meteorologists have reported that the cold snap in the Altai region is expected to persist for several days, with daytime temperatures fluctuating between +15 and +20 degrees Celsius and not exceeding +20 degrees Celsius.
