VVO Expands Night Bus Services for Dresden's Winter Time Switch

The Verkehrsverbund Oberelbe (VVO) is preparing for the switch to winter time in Dresden on October 26, 2025, by expanding its night bus services. The additional services aim to support late-night travelers and ensure passenger safety during the time change.

VVO will run extra bus trips on the night of October 25-26, including additional connections coordinated with Dresden transport schedules. This unique overlap in time will see 2:45 a.m. occur twice on Sunday morning. Passengers can check timetables and fares via the VVO hotline (+49 351 8526555), the VVO mobil app, or the VVO website (www.vvo-online.de/nachtverkehr).

VVO's eight regional night bus lines connect Dresden to surrounding towns on Friday, Saturday, and holiday nights. These lines run in coordination with DVB departures at 1:15 a.m. and 2:45 a.m., ensuring smooth transfers for passengers.

VVO's expanded night bus services during the winter time transition aim to provide safe and convenient travel options for late-night travelers in Dresden. Passengers are encouraged to check timetables and plan their journeys accordingly.
