VShojo in Turmoil: Ironmouse Accuses Agency of Withholding Charity Funds

In a shocking turn of events, popular VTuber Ironmouse has officially left her co-founded agency, VShojo, accusing them of withholding over $500,000 in donations meant for the Immune Deficiency Foundation (IDF), a charity close to her heart.

During a subathon stream in 2023, Ironmouse raised an impressive $515,000 for the IDF. However, VShojo, who were responsible for processing the donations, failed to transfer the funds to the charity, as the donations were not processed through official fundraising platforms.

Ironmouse alleges that she was misled about the agency's financial status for months, and has now initiated legal proceedings against VShojo. While details remain confidential on her attorney’s advice, she has pledged that all ad revenue from her announcement video will go to the IDF, and she plans to host further charity streams independently.

The controversy has sparked a broader exodus within VShojo. Talents such as Matara Kan, GEEGA, and Zentreya have also left the agency this year. While these creators have not publicly criticized VShojo as directly as Ironmouse, some, like Zentreya, have hinted at unresolved internal problems within the agency.

Notable VTubers like Michi Mochievee, Henya the Genius, and Haruka Karibu have spoken out in support of Ironmouse. Justin Ignacio, the CEO of VShojo, takes full responsibility for the decisions that led to the agency's closure. He acknowledges that some of the money spent by the company was raised in connection with talent activity, which was intended for a charitable initiative, but was used for other purposes.

VShojo, an agency that promotes VTubers, ran out of money, leading to its closure. This controversy has significantly shaken the VShojo community and raised concerns about the agency’s financial management and transparency.

Ironmouse, the third most subscribed streamer on Twitch, started streaming to make friends online due to having common variable immunodeficiency (CVID), an immune disorder. She regularly streams herself chatting or playing games on her online platform.
