Voting for the new mayor taking place on September 28th
Bergisch Gladbach residents will head to the polls again for a runoff election on September 28, 2025, to elect a new Mayor. The runoff will feature two candidates: Alexander Felsch (CDU) and Marcel Kreutz (SPD).
The runoff election was necessitated due to no candidate securing an absolute majority in the initial election held on September 14, 2025.
