Voting events occurring within the Rhine district of Neuss
On September 28, the runoff election will take place in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district. Here's a guide to help you navigate the voting process.
Voters are required to identify themselves at the polling station with a valid personal ID. The polling stations will be open from 8 am to 6 pm on September 28.
If you did not check the box for the runoff when applying, you will need to reapply for postal voting. Those who have not yet applied for postal voting can do so online on the municipalities' websites.
For those who have already opted for postal voting in the main election, you will usually receive the ballot for the runoff election automatically. The election office of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district administration is responsible for issuing postal voting papers for the runoff election.
Voting for the runoff election takes place at the same polling station as the election on September 14. It is also possible to vote at the town halls with just a personal ID. The address of the polling station can be found on the municipality's website using the polling station finder.
Voter notification cards issued for the main election are valid for the runoff election. The municipalities will send out the postal voting documents for the runoff election this week.
