Voting Day for the Election of the New Mayor, Scheduled for 28th of September
The city of Bergisch Gladbach is preparing for a runoff election to determine the next mayor, with the vote set for September 28, 2025. The candidates for the runoff election are Alexander Felsch (CDU) and Marcel Kreutz (SPD).
If you're a registered voter in the city, you can cast your vote at the voting office, which will be open from Monday, September 22, to Friday, September 25, from 10:00 to 18:00. The voting office will close on the Friday before the election at 15:00.
For those who wish to vote by absentee ballot, you can request the necessary docs here or by mail. If you have already requested absentee voting docs for the runoff election, you will automatically receive them by mail. It's important to note that a personal ID or voting permit is required to vote in the runoff election.
