The Mount Rushmore Project, launched by our platform's high school sports staff, is currently underway in Section III, New York. This unique initiative aims to recognize and honor outstanding female athletes in Chittenango athletics by highlighting the top four female athletes of all time at high schools throughout the region.

Each featured high school in Section III has polls available for public input on who should be included on their respective Mount Rushmore. For instance, polls have been launched for the Auburn girls sports Mount Rushmore, Bishop Grimes girls sports Mount Rushmore, and the PSLA @ Fowler girls sports Mount Rushmore.

The polls are separate for girls sports in each school, ensuring a fair and accurate representation of the standout athletes in each sport. The Mount Rushmore Project for girls sports in Section III is part of an ongoing effort to recognize and honor outstanding athletes in each school's athletics.

The Mount Rushmore Project for boys sports in the Chittenango area follows a similar format. A poll is launched for each featured high school's Mount Rushmore, with separate polls for boys sports in each school. The project features high schools each summer as part of the Mount Rushmore Project.
