Volvo V90 Estate Takes the Spotlight at 2016 Awards and Debuts

The Volvo V90 Estate, a new addition to the Volvo lineup, has been turning heads in the automotive world. This exceptional machine, which reshapes the estate car marketplace, was first revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, and it has since been making waves.

Produced by Volvo since 2016, the V90 is based on the SPA platform, succeeding the Volvo V70. The V90 Estate has started production in Sweden, and photos of the car have been taken ahead of its expected reveal at the Geneva Motor Show.

The V90 Estate is the estate version of the new S90, and it has been praised for its combination of traditional Volvo family values, style, advanced technology, safety, driving dynamics, and cabin environment. This unique blend of features has made the V90 Estate a strong contender in the Scottish marketplace, earning it the title of the most accomplished new car launched in 2016.

In recognition of its outstanding qualities, the Volvo V90 Estate was awarded the Scottish Car of the Year 2016. It also took home the award for the best estate car in 2016. This double victory is a testament to the V90's appeal and its potential to redefine the estate car market.

Interestingly, the 2016 Scottish Car of the Year awards saw Audi, Ford, Jaguar, and Renault each winning two awards. The Ford Focus RS, for instance, won the best hot hatch award, while Jaguar's new F-Pace took home the best SUV award.

Meanwhile, the Mazda MX-5 was honoured with the best used car award in 2016.

The Volvo V90 Estate is set to make its public debut at the Detroit Motor Show before its Geneva appearance. This car, which is likely to be revealed before its public debut, is undoubtedly one to watch in the automotive industry.

In Sweden, the V90 has already been spotted completely undisguised, offering a sneak peek at its sleek design and advanced features. With its combination of style, technology, and performance, the Volvo V90 Estate is poised to leave a lasting impression on the automotive world.
