Step it up, Berlin Recycling Volleys! The defending champs of German volleyball have snagged another young talent for the professional squad this season. Maximilian Treiter, hailing from the federal support point VC Olympia Berlin, is joining forces with the record champions.

The 20-year-old Treiter, standing tall at 1.88 meters, has turned heads with his consistent performances as a libero in his first season. So, what led Treiter to step into the libero position? From honing his skills at the Berliner TSC, Treiter spent the past four years at VC Olympia and made the switch from an outside hitter to a libero.

"It took me some time to adapt, but it was a smart move," Treiter said, "although I occasionally miss the thrill of a powerful spike."

The defending champions, Berlin Recycling Volleys, have bolstered their ranks with the addition of another talented youth in Maximilian Treiter, who previously played at VC Olympia Berlin.
