German Football National Team's Coach Duo: All About Team Spirit in Munich

Munich's Duo Völler and Nagelsmann: Unified Spirit Soars above Finale - Völler and Nagelsmann Express Their Confidence Regarding the Topping of the Final in Munich

Julian Nagelsmann and Rudi Voeller, the dynamic duo leading the German football national team, prioritize "team spirit" over watching the Champions League final live in Munich.

Despite receiving an invitation for the heated match between Yann Aurel Bisseck's Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain set to kick off tonight (9:00 PM), the pair decided to forgo the Allianz Arena experience and instead stay put with the team. Instead, they'll watch the final alongside their players back at their headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Franconia.

Nagelsmann, the head coach, shared their decision, explaining, "We've got an invite, but we're not going. We're sticking with the team at our home base and watching the final with the crew." He continued, "We'd rather use the time with the lads than be away for half a day."

Voeller, the team's mentor, echoed the sentiment, stating, "We've really emphasized the team spirit here. We don't get many opportunities to be together, so we're sticking it out with the team."

Supporting a team member

If another team had made it to the final, their decision might have been different, Nagelsmann admits. "Of course, it would be swell if a German club were in the final. In that case, Rudi and I would've gone."

He and Voeller are, of course, rooting for Bisseck to join the national team as a Champions League victor. "Duh, we're on his side and rooting for him," said Voeller. "When a fellow team member's in the final, who wouldn't want him to shine?"

Nagelsmann, however, notes their neutrality in the affair. "Generally, we should be aboveboard. But with our bloke in the final, we're backing him to deliver a top-notch performance and bring back the trophy. That'd be great for him and for us."

Forecasting the match

The coach is stoked about the upcoming match between Inter and PSG for the most coveted club accolade: "I reckon both teams deserve to be in the final. I can't wait for a cracking game."
