Vladivostok's Stormwater Drainage Modernization Protects Streets from Heavy Rain

Vladivostok is tackling its annual heavy rain challenges with a comprehensive modernization of its stormwater drainage system. This season has seen significant improvements to protect streets and infrastructure.

Over 10 kilometers of stormwater drainage has been cleaned and flushed across the city. Several streets, including Пограничная, Ватутина, and Жигура, have undergone repair work. The center's stormwater drainage system has been updated with new water drains and powerful pump stations, enabling quick drainage and reducing surface water accumulation risk.

Currently, the 400-meter-long storm drain on Выселковая Street is being repaired. Meanwhile, 'Dalvodokanal' is overseeing the reconstruction of the stormwater drainage system on Dneprovskaya Street. 'AvtodorDV' has begun work on this site, aiming to complete it by the end of October. This modernization aims to prevent regular flooding during rain on Dneprovskaya Street.

The modernization of Vladivostok's stormwater drainage system is well underway, with significant progress made this season. These improvements aim to mitigate the city's annual heavy rain challenges, protecting streets and infrastructure from damage.
