Vladivostok braces for first major snowfall of the season

Vladivostok is preparing for its first significant snowfall of the season, with wet snow transitioning to heavier flurries overnight on November 27. The city anticipates up to 3 cm of accumulation, presenting risks of slippery roads and pavements as temperatures drop.

The snowfall is predicted to peak in the morning and early afternoon of December 1. City authorities have positioned snow-clearing machinery at strategic points across Vladivostok to respond promptly. Crews will commence treating roads with anti-icing materials by 3:00 AM to mitigate hazards.

The snowfall may disrupt travel and daily routines, with slippery conditions persisting into the day. Authorities are advising residents to exercise extra caution when navigating the city. Snow removal teams will strive to keep primary routes clear as the weather evolves.
