Vladimir Pravolamsky to Lead Krasnodar's Construction Boom After Olympic Success
Vladimir Pravolamsky, a seasoned construction specialist from Novocherkassk, has been appointed to lead the Department of Construction in Krasnodar Region. His career spans over two decades, with key roles in major projects, including the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, where his work earned government recognition. Born on August 26, 1976, in Novocherkassk, Rostov Oblast, Pravolamsky began his professional journey in 1999. That same year, he graduated from the Southern Russian State Technical University with a degree in lifting, transport, and construction machinery. His early career focused on building mountain tourism infrastructure.
In 2014, he earned a second degree in industrial and civil engineering from Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University. This period also marked his involvement in the Sochi Winter Olympics, where he contributed to the construction and repair of Olympic venues. His efforts were later acknowledged with a commemorative medal and official government recognition.
From 2011 to 2020, Pravolamsky held senior positions at Gazprom, overseeing the development of Olympic and post-Olympic facilities. After leaving Gazprom, he managed reconstruction and capital repair divisions in Krasnodar Region until May 2026. His expertise was further validated in 2018 when he was listed in the registry of the National Association of Builders.
Now, under the appointment by Veniamin Kondratyev, Pravolamsky will lead the regional construction department, bringing his extensive experience to the role. Pravolamsky’s appointment follows a career defined by high-profile projects and industry recognition. His leadership in Krasnodar’s construction sector will draw on his technical background and decades of hands-on experience. The role places him at the forefront of regional infrastructure development.
