Visa and Telephone Services Undergoing Restrictions and Uncertainties
WSV Velbert Braces for Challenging Lineup Amid Visa Hurdles and Injuries
WSV Velbert, the German football club, faces a testing period as they prepare for their upcoming match on 29 July. The sports director, Gaetano Manno, has expressed concerns about Hartmann's registration, stating that it will be tight due to the deadline.
Hartmann, who previously played for Sportfreunde Lotte, needs to be released by his former club to the DFB before WSV can register him with the West German Football Association. However, the status of his visa application remains uncertain. Similarly, Daiko Kamo and Toshiaki Miyamoto, former players of St. Tönis and Bremer SV respectively, are yet to receive the necessary visas for playing in Germany.
Injuries have also added to WSV's woes. Subaru Nishimura, who suffered a metatarsal fracture, will be out of action. Kadi Atmaca will miss a game due to a light muscle tear sustained in the opening game. Semir Saric is still dealing with knee issues, and Muhammed Bejdic is out due to an ACL tear.
The club, however, has some positive news. Alessio Arambasic, who was suspended for two games due to a foul against Fortuna Köln, is eligible to play in the upcoming match.
WSV is hoping for fan support for their match, with the main tribune with 1,000 seats already sold out. A total of 2,000 standing places are reserved for Wuppertal fans. Tickets for the match are available at cashier 3 and a mobile sales point.
Last season, a similar situation occurred with Japanese player Subaru Nishimura, who also did not receive clearance until August. Despite the delay in clearance, Nishimura was later allowed to play. WSV's sports director, Manno, is in contact with the players' agents regarding the visa issue, hoping for a swift resolution.
Visas for foreign players must be renewed each time they wish to play in Germany. The West German Football Association requires visas for granting playing permission to foreign players. WSV in Velbert is eagerly waiting for the resolution of these issues to field their best team for the crucial match on 29 July.
- Despite the challenges with Hartmann's visa and the injury woes of several players, WSV Velbert is hoping for a quick resolution, as they aim to strengthen their squad with the addition of European leagues footballer Hartmann, who previously played for Sportfreunde Lotte.
- As the curtain draws near for the upcoming match on 29 July, the absence of key players like Daiko Kamo and Toshiaki Miyamoto due to unresolved visa issues, coupled with the long-term injuries of Kadi Atmaca, Subaru Nishimura, Semir Saric, and Muhammed Bejdic, leaves WSV Velbert's lineup with significant gaps, particularly in the European-leagues style of football.
