WSV Brück Wuppertal Faces Visa Challenges Ahead of Velbert Match

WSV Brück Wuppertal, a German football club, is facing a series of challenges as they prepare for their upcoming match in Velbert. The team is grappling with visa issues affecting several of their players, including new signing Hans-Juraj Hartmann, Daiko Kamo, and Toshiaki Miyamoto.

According to Gaetano Manno, WSV's sports chief, the visa process is being expedited, but managing it in time will be tight. The team's current roster has already been hit hard by injuries, with players like Subaru Nishimura, out due to a metatarsal fracture, Kadi Atmaca with a light muscle tear, and Muhammed Bejdic sidelined due to an ACL tear. Semir Saric continues to battle knee issues.

The situation is not new for WSV, as a similar visa-related issue occurred last season with Japanese player Subaru Nishimura. Alessio Arambasic is also unavailable, serving a two-game suspension following his foul against Fortuna Köln (0:2).

The good news for Wuppertal fans is that 2,000 standing places have been reserved for them in the Velbert match. Tickets can be purchased at cashier 3 and a mobile sales point. However, the status of Hartmann's participation remains uncertain.

Visa availability is a critical factor for players participating in international matches or tournaments, as they require valid visas or work permits to enter the host country and compete. The West German Football Association requires visas for granting playing permission. Hartmann's previous club, Sportfreunde Lotte, must first release him to the DFB before WSV can register him with the West German Football Association.

WSV is hoping for strong fan support in Velbert, where they started with a 2:2 draw against Lotte. Despite the challenges, the team is determined to put up a good fight in the upcoming match. For updates on the visa situations of Hartmann, Kamo, Miyamoto, and any potential developments, more targeted, current sources or official association communications will be necessary.

The visa challenges are affecting several players, including new signing Hans-Juraj Hartmann, Daiko Kamo, and Toshiaki Miyamoto, who are part of the WSV Brück Wuppertal football team that is competing in European-leagues, particularly the premier-league. The team's sports chief, Gaetano Manno, is working on expediting the visa process, but the tight deadline exacerbates the issue, given the team's existing injuries.
