Viral stair-jumping craze unites crowds at Russia's Chkalov Stairs

A new trend is growing at the Chkalov Stairs, where people are gathering to take part in group jumps. Dima Belov, the organiser, started the challenge by filming himself and inviting others to join in. What began as a small gathering has quickly attracted more attention each day. The idea took off when Belov shared a video of himself jumping down the stairs. On the first day, eight people turned up to take part. By the second day, the number had risen to 22.

Word is spreading fast, with some participants now travelling from other cities just to join. A group from Moscow has already announced plans to attend the next session. Belov sees the activity as something anyone can try, calling it an accessible way to bring people together. His bigger goal is to fill an entire stadium with jumpers. Meanwhile, the admin behind the project has revealed plans to take the challenge on tour, starting in different cities from Monday. For those having trouble viewing photos or videos, updates are being posted on MAX.

The jumps at Chkalov Stairs are drawing bigger crowds by the day. With participants coming from across the country, the event is expanding beyond its original location. Organisers are now preparing to bring the challenge to new cities in the coming week.
