Violent Entertainment Event: Crime Spectacle Provokes Thrills in Lünen
The crime festival "Bloody Lippe" is set to return for its fifth edition on September 8, 2025. This year, the festival will take place along the Lippe river in Germany, and Lünen is set to be a significant part of the event.
The festival will kick-off on Wednesday, 30. October 2025, at 7 pm in Bürger-Bücherei-Brambauer. Hartmut Marks (festival director) and Magnus See (author and publisher) will be present to welcome attendees.
On Thursday, 13. November 2025, Doris Oetting and Peter Vollmert will read from their new crime novels at two separate events in Lünen. Doris Oetting will read from her new novel "Decision on Norderney" at Bürgerzentrum Gahmen, while Peter Vollmert will conclude the Lüner event series with his new novel "Decision on Norderney" at the same venue on November 13.
Isabella Archan, winner of the Glauser Prize 2025, will also be present at the festival. On Wednesday, 5. November 2025, she will read from her new crime novel "The Snake of Sirmione" at LÜKAZ Lünen.
The events in Lünen will feature an interactive crime quiz with attractive prizes, and admission is free, but registration is required with the Kulturbüro of the city of Lünen. Registrations can be made by visiting Kurt-Schumacher-Str. 41, 44532 Lünen, calling 02306 104-2299, or sending an email to kltrbrlnnd.
