The Vintera II Road Worn series, a limited edition run by Fender, has been unveiled, offering five classic instruments from the Big F archive. These electric guitars and basses are meticulously crafted to recreate the Golden Era Fender tone, with pickups that are "era-correct" and aged semi-gloss nitrocellulose finishes.

The series includes a '60s Stratocaster, available in Sonic Blue or Black, a '60s Telecaster in Burgundy Mist Metallic or Blonde, a '50s Jazzmaster in Fiesta Red or 3-Color Sunburst, and a '60s Precision Bass in Charcoal Mist Metallic or Fiesta Red.

The '60s Stratocaster is equipped with a trio of vintage-voiced Strat single-coil pickups, a 2-point synchronized tremolo system with bent-steel saddles, and vintage-style tuning machines. On the other hand, the Jazzmaster models boast a floating vibrato and the Lead/Rhythm circuit. Both Jazzmaster models also feature anodized gold pickguards. The Sonic Blue model comes with a slab rosewood fingerboard, while the Black Strat features a maple fingerboard. The Burgundy Mist Metallic '60s Telecaster is considered a standout model in the Vintera II Road Worn series.

The neck shapes of the Vintera II Road Worn series are given the decade-appropriate C profile and topped with 7.25" radius fingerboards with narrow-tall frets. The Precision Bass models are priced at £1,399/$1,599, while the Jazzmaster models retail at £1,399/$1,699. The '60s Stratocaster retails at £1,349/$1,599.

The Precision Bass models are equipped with vintage-style bridges with four steel saddles, knurled metal flat-top volume and tone controls, and reverse open-gear tuners. The Jazzmaster models, in addition to their unique features, also boast the superb playability, knock-out tone, and retro mojo that MusicRadar praised in their review of the Vintera II Road Worn '50s Jazzmaster.

These instruments are built in Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility. The limited Vintera II Road Worn series of electric guitars and basses is now available, and more details can be found on Fender's website.
