Vinted Users Struggle to Access Earnings Amid Cash Withdrawal Issues

Hundreds of Vinted users have been left unable to access their earnings this week, with the reselling app experiencing IRS issues. The problem has been ongoing for several days, affecting sellers who rely on the platform to make extra cash from selling second-hand clothes and accessories. Vinted, a popular app for buying and selling pre-loved items, has seen its users face difficulties in withdrawing their earnings from sales. The issue, which has been reported on outage tracker Downdetector for the past three days, seems to be preventing sellers from accessing their funds in their Vinted Wallet. Frustrated users have taken to social media to express their concerns, with some reporting a 'pending balance' issue. This is not the first time Vinted has encountered problems with its app, with previous outages and glitches reported in April, March, September, and May. While Vinted has attributed the current issue to its payments provider, Mangopay, the app's history of payment-related problems suggests a recurring theme. In the past, users have been targeted by phishing and payment scams impersonating Vinted's cash app system, indicating past challenges with fraudulent activities around payments on the platform. Vinted has confirmed the cash withdrawal issue and is working on a resolution. Users are advised to monitor the situation and keep an eye on official Vinted channels for updates. In the meantime, those looking to sell second-hand items can still create profiles and upload items, but may face difficulties in accessing their earnings until the issue is resolved.
