VinFast, Castrol Partner for Enhanced EV After-Sales Support in India

VinFast Auto India has partnered with Castrol India Limited to bolster after-sales support for its electric vehicles in India. The collaboration, announced through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to enhance customer confidence and service standards.

VinFast, aiming to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities by 2025, will gain access to Castrol's extensive network of over 750 workshops in 300+ cities. These workshops will feature dedicated VinFast-branded service bays and certified EV technicians. Mr. Rajeev Govil, Senior Vice President, India B2B, Castrol India, expressed enthusiasm about supporting VinFast and its EV customers.

VinFast will provide service manuals, diagnostic tools, training, and warranty coverage processes, while Castrol will ensure workshops meet infrastructure and capability standards. With three blending plants and a wide distribution network reaching over 150,000 retail outlets nationwide, Castrol's footprint will enable VinFast to offer broad and convenient after-sales care.

VinFast's first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually, underscores its commitment to the Indian market. Mr. Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, sees reliable after-sales care as central to its long-term vision in India. Through this partnership, VinFast and Castrol aim to raise service standards through advanced diagnostics, genuine parts, and digital-first support solutions.
