Villarreal's Late Equalizer Secures Thrilling 2-2 Draw Against Juventus

Villarreal secured a thrilling 2-2 draw against Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday. The Spanish side came from behind twice, leaving Juventus coach Igor Tudor admitting his team appeared nervous at times. Juventus will now prepare to host AC Milan in Serie A this Sunday.

Villarreal opened the scoring through Georgian forward Georges Mikautadze in the 18th minute. However, Juventus responded with an impressive overhead kick from Federico Gatti in the 49th minute to level the scores. The Italian side then took the lead in the 56th minute through Francisco Conceicao. But Villarreal showed great resilience, with Renato Veiga, who spent half of last season at Juventus, scoring a dramatic equalizer in the 90th minute. Dani Parejo, the Villarreal midfielder, praised the team's spirit and fight to secure the draw.

Villarreal's next challenge is a La Liga clash against Real Madrid this Saturday. Meanwhile, Juventus will look to bounce back from this setback when they host AC Milan in Serie A this weekend.
