| || --- || The Vice Standing President of the Hò Chí Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), Nguyễn Duy Bắc, recently met with Bounleua Phandanouvong, the Acting Chairman of the Commission for External Relations of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee.

During their discussion in Hà Nội on June 3, Bắc highlighted the close bond between the HCMA and the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, as well as various other Lao agencies. He discussed the pivotal role of the HCMA in training and research for both parties and states.

Bắc suggested that Bounleua continued supporting both academies and other Lao partners affiliated with the HCMA in fulfilling tasks assigned by the leaders of their respective countries. Moreover, he emphasized that around 200 Lao students — doctoral, master's, and undergraduate — are currently studying and conducting research within the HCMA system.

Bắc assured that the academy will continue to refine its programs and policies to provide the best possible learning environment for Lao students and researchers.

Bounleua acknowledged the enduring support provided by the HCMA to Lao officials and public servants pursuing advanced political studies and research in Vietnam. He agreed on the importance of innovating curricula and teaching content for training Lao cadres and proposed that the two academies maintain regular dialogue to develop programs tailored to the demands of Laos' new development phase.

Bounleua also expressed hope that more Lao leaders, scholars, and lecturers would frequently visit Vietnam to engage in research and discussions with their counterparts, including those at the HCMA.

Bounleua reaffirmed his determination to collaborate closely with Lao agencies and their Vietnamese partners to advance the capacity of Lao officials and civil servants to adapt to the changing landscape of the new development phase, thereby reinforcing the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
