A video making the rounds on social media captures a confrontation between Pankhuri Mishra, a Bihari migrant and tech whiz, and Bengaluru auto-driver Lokesh. The dust-up started when Pankhuri's scooter brushed against Lokesh's auto while merging lanes on Saturday, 31st May, around 3 PM—all caught on camera by a fellow auto-driver.
First off, Pankhuri Mishra, a 28-year-old software engineer, was heard on the call, accusing the driver of misbehavior and brutalizing her foot. The driver tried recording the argument but found himself on the receiving end of Pankhuri's slipper.
"Will you make a video? Go make a video," she taunts during their exchange, speaking in Hindi.

Redemption on the Asphalt
After facing backlash, Lokesh, 33, went to the Bellandur police station and filed a complaint for unprovoked assault. The police arrested Pankhuri, yet she apologized, explaining her state of panic, as she is pregnant.
"I apologize. I am pregnant, so that's what I was thinking—what if I had a miscarriage?" she explained, adding, "We love Bengaluru, we love the culture, and we love the people."
