Video debut for "Gorinych" unveiled

In the intriguing movie, "Gorynych," we've got our protagonist, Senior Lieutenant of the Navy Alexei Alekseev, who takes a plunge into the ocean's depths in a bathyscaphe. Unexpectedly, he stumbles across a hidden underwater cave – a gateway to a whimsical realm filled with its own cast of characters. Among them is a dashing prince, whom Alexei falls for his daughter. But the real kicker? They've got mythical creatures roaming around! Before you can say "abracadabra," a tiny, scaled creature emerges from an egg in front of Alexei – none other than a baby dragon! Caught off guard, Alexei takes on the unlikely role of mother to his adorable, miniature, fire-breathing friend...

As for the star-studded cast, Alexander Petrov plays the intrepid Alexei, Sergei Makovetsky brings the charming prince to life, Victoria Agalakova shines as the prince's daughter, while Alexander Robak delivers a commanding performance as Captain Second Rank Goryachev, Alexei's superior. The productions commenced under St. Petersburg in June 2024, and KP gave an in-depth account of that auspicious first shooting day. Petrov shared his insights at the time, stating:

My character, similar to me, is a believer in miracles, one who relies on his gut instinct, and is unafraid to push forward. Strangely, he forms a bond with Gorynych, eventually understanding him on an instinctive level – they share a stubbornness, after all. Alexei teaches Gorynych to be himself. He's unique, and so is Gorynych, and Alexei doesn't try to domesticate him or force him to conform. That's crucial in relationships with people, particularly children – and animals, too.

So, sit back and enjoy the magical journey that is "Gorynych," as our hero navigates this surreal world while nurturing his extraordinary companion. Who knew tender, loving care for a baby dragon would be a part of his maritime duties!?
