Victory in National U11 Football Competition - Nestle MILO Cup 2025 goes to Hung Yen Team

This prestigious sports event promotes grassroots football development among under-11 players and encourages physical activity and teamwork from an early age.
This year's championship, held at the Quang Nam Arena in Da Nang, saw Hung Yen clinch their first victory, securing a 1-0 win over Bac Ninh on August 5, 2025. The tournament features competitive matches among regional teams across Vietnam and includes quarterfinals, semi-finals that receive live coverage, highlighting promising young football talent nationally.
The championship serves as a significant platform for nurturing young players at a formative age, providing them with a chance to showcase their skills, gain experience in competitive football, and foster sportsmanship and community spirit. Over the past 28 years, Nestlé MILO has played a pivotal role in spreading the spirit of sportsmanship and nurturing a dynamic young generation. The event is organized annually by Youth Vanguard and Children Newspaper, Vietnam Football Federation, and the Ministry of Education and Training. After the final, prizes were awarded to outstanding teams and individuals.

The final match was a tense one, with both teams having good chances. The turning point occurred with seven minutes left, when Quoc Viet scored the decisive goal for Hung Yen. In the closing minutes, Bac Ninh pushed forwards in search of an equaliser, but it was not to be. Lang Son and Viet Hung (Thanh Hoa) shared third place.
