The TrustGolf Asian Mixed 2025, a groundbreaking tournament in the world of golf, concluded with a thrilling finish at the Lake View Resort and Golf Club in Cha-Am, Thailand. The event, which featured a mixed field of 40 female professionals from the Taiwan LPGA Tour and 40 male professionals from the Taiwan PGA Tour, was played over 54 holes stroke play across three days.
In a closely contested final round, Tawit Polthai, a 31-year-old golfer from Chanthaburi, emerged victorious with a spectacular performance. Tawit started the final round two shots behind the leader, Wang Wei-hsuan, but produced a superb charge to close in on the leader. A precise birdie putt on the par-4 14th proved decisive, propelling Tawit to the top of the leaderboard.
Tawit's winning score was an impressive 18-under-par 195 on the par-71 layout at Lake View Resort and Golf Club. This was Tawit's second career win, following his maiden title at the PKNS Selangor Masters on the Asian Development Tour in Malaysia earlier this year. Wang Wei-hsuan, who secured an Asian Tour card via Q School, finished as the runner-up, just two strokes behind Tawit. Suteepat Prateeptienchai finished in solo third with a score of 198, while Thanyakorn Krongpha and Suteepat tied for fourth place at 199. Cholcheva Wongras, Dechawat Phetprayoon, Varanyu Rattanaphiboonkij, and Tsai Kai-Jen all finished tied for fifth place at 200.
The TrustGolf Asian Mixed 2025 offered the women's champion full Taiwan LPGA Tour status and Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking points, while the men's winner secured a Taiwan PGA Tour card and Official World Golf Ranking points.
