The II All-Russian Municipal Forum "Small Homeland - Strength of Russia" is currently underway at the National Center in Moscow, running from April 21 to 23. Over 4,000 people from 89 Russian subjects are participating, including a delegation from the Altai region consisting of over 60 people.

The forum is not limited to local self-government, federal and regional authorities, business, public organizations, and experts, but also extends an invitation to the general public from Biysk. In fact, Biysk residents are encouraged to participate in choosing a public territory for improvement at the forum. Victor Shigrev, Head of Biysk, is also present at the event.

The II All-Russian Municipal Forum is a significant gathering that brings together various sectors of society and decision-makers from across Russia. It serves as a platform for discussions and expert dialogues, not just on local issues, but also on national development goals and federal projects through 2030 and beyond to 2036.

The forum focuses on engaging heads of municipalities and local self-government bodies in implementing national projects aimed at Russia's technological leadership, social support measures, and development goals up to 2036. Topics cover technological sovereignty in economic sectors, the bioeconomy, social privileges for large families, healthcare accessibility especially in rural areas, and support for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) exporting civilian products.

The event schedule includes sessions on strategic instructions and follow-ups to ensure alignment of municipal efforts with federal development priorities. The All-Russian Municipal Investment Forum is taking place alongside the II All-Russian Municipal Forum, with a business program featuring more than 20 panel sessions, expert dialogues, and discussions.

In addition to the business and policy discussions, the 'Heart of the Motherland' cultural festival is also part of the events at the II All-Russian Municipal Forum. This cultural event adds a rich and vibrant element to the forum, reflecting the diversity and unity of Russia.
