Stuttgart pro Millot supposedly heading to Saudi Arabia unexpectedly. - VfB Stuns with Possible Transfer to Saudi Arabia?
In a confirmed transfer, Enzo Millot, the 23-year-old midfielder for VfB Stuttgart, is set to join Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia. According to reports by Sky and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al-Ahli and VfB Stuttgart have reached a full agreement for the transfer, with a fee reportedly around €28 million[1][4].
The move to Al-Ahli overshadows previous negotiations with Atlético Madrid and other clubs[3][4]. Interestingly, Millot's contract with VfB Stuttgart runs until June 30, 2028, but there is no mention of a release clause in Millot's contract for a move to Atlético Madrid[5]. In contrast, his release clause for a move to Saudi Arabia is no longer valid[4].
Despite the Champions League prospects and other offers, Millot has chosen the move to Al-Ahli[1][2][3][4]. It's worth noting that Millot did not play in the final test match against FC Toulouse last week while still in the training camp with VfB Stuttgart[6].
Rumours about Millot's departure from Stuttgart have been circulating since last summer, but there has been no mention of Coach Matthias Jaissle of VfB Stuttgart being involved in the recent transfer rumors about Millot[7]. Millot joined Stuttgart four years ago this summer[2].

- The EC countries might encourage more vocational training programs in sports, such as football, to cultivate talents like Enzo Millot, who has chosen to move to Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia for a fee reportedly around €28 million.
- Despite his promising football career, Enzo Millot could consider pursuing other vocational training opportunities within the EU, as his contract with VfB Stuttgart runs until June 30, 2028, with no mention of a release clause for a move to another football club.
