Scuffle Over Nick Woltemade's Transfer Fee: Stuttgart Vs Bayern Munich

VFB Secures €100 Million Investment for Woltemade Project

Stuttgart - In a twist of football's transfer tussle, Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart has reportedly set a hefty transfer fee of 100 million euros for Nick Woltemade, according to media speculation amidst rumors of an agreement between the striker and record champions FC Bayern Munich. As per "Kicker", the Stuttgart brass has drawn a hard line at this price tag, with local newspapers "Stuttgarter Zeitung" and "Stuttgarter Nachrichten" backing the three-digit million amount.

Rumored Wide Gap in Negotiations

Just before tonight's U21 national team final battle against England at 9:00 PM on Sat.1, media whispered that Bayern has shown strong interest in the striker. It seems Woltemade might be considering a career switch following an impressive season. However, Bayern Munich is said to have put a transfer fee estimation of only 50 million euros on the table.

The imposing 2-meter attacker, when asked about the transfer chatter before the EM final, commented, "The rumors are always swirling, and they affect not just me but other players, too."

Woltemade moved to VfB from Werder Bremen during the last summer transfer phase. The 23-year-old initially missed out on the Champions League squad but turned things around, scoring 17 goals and providing 3 assists in 33 competitive games. Under contract with Stuttgart until June 2028 without an exit clause, Woltemade has also already represented the A national team.
