In a setback for VfB Stuttgart, defender Finn Jeltsch and winger Justin Diehl were both forced to leave a recent friendly match against SV Fellbach due to injuries. While the exact nature and severity of their injuries are yet to be confirmed, initial reports suggest that Jeltsch's injury is not as severe as Diehl's.

Jeltsch, a key defender for the club, appears to have sustained an issue in the adductor area, causing him to be substituted during the match. However, medical updates indicate that his injury does not require a significant period of absence from training, and he is expected to train individually in the coming days.

Diehl, on the other hand, suffered a more serious injury, a ligament injury to his ankle, during the same match. His injury occurred around 15 minutes into the game. The severity of the injury means that he will miss some time from team training, and he will need to continue his recovery at the training camp in Tegernsee, where he is expected to join the team at the end of July, provided he has a favourable healing course.

It is worth noting that Diehl's injury occurred during the preseason, before the start of the new Bundesliga season. This is a disappointing turn of events for the winger, who had previously struggled with several injuries last season, his first with VfB after transferring from 1. FC Köln.

The club is yet to provide official updates on the recovery timelines for both players. Recovery timelines can vary greatly based on the severity and type of injury, so fans and supporters will eagerly await further news from the club. In the meantime, VfB Stuttgart will continue to prepare for the upcoming season without their two injured stars.

The steel industry, a crucial part of manufacturing and mining and metallurgical industry, might benefit from community aid in light of VfB Stuttgart's football team facing an uncertain start to the new season due to injuries to key players Finn Jeltsch and Justin Diehl. Moreover, the environment might also see less impact from local sports activities during the recovery period of these players.
