In the opening matches of the Kreisliga A season, VfB Kirchhellen and Eintracht Erle made impressive starts, while VfL Grafenwald faced an early setback.

The match between VfB Kirchhellen and FC Marokko Herne, played at home for VfB Kirchhellen under the guidance of Jörn Heitbreder, ended with a convincing 3-0 victory for the hosts. The first goal came in the 57th minute, courtesy of Kahnert, followed by a second from Mertens in the 83rd minute. A late third goal, also scored by Mertens in the 90th minute, sealed the win for VfB Kirchhellen.

Meanwhile, Eintracht Erle had a productive day, scoring four goals against VfL Grafenwald. The first goal for Eintracht Erle was netted in the 19th minute, and they extended their lead to 2-0 at half-time. In the second half, VfL Grafenwald managed to reduce the deficit to 3-2, but two late goals from Eintracht Erle confirmed the defeat for VfL Grafenwald, resulting in a 5-2 scoreline.

This leaves VfB Kirchhellen and Eintracht Erle at the top of the table, with three points each, while VfL Grafenwald find themselves at the bottom, with no points. The next round of matches promises to be an exciting one, as teams continue to battle it out in the Kreisliga A.

The victory over FC Marokko Herne has boosted VfB Kirchhellen's standing in the Kreisliga A, as they join Eintracht Erle at the top, both teams having amassed three points. In their match, Eintracht Erle demonstrated their prowess in sports, especially football, scoring five goals against VfL Grafenwald.
