VFB Friedrichshafen has returned to Biberach yet again.
The upcoming volleyball game on Friday, 19th September, at the Wilhelm-Leger-Halle in Biberach promises to be an intense and exciting affair. VfB Friedrichshafen will take on WWK Volleys Herrsching, and fans in Oberschwaben have a unique chance to experience Bundesliga volleyball up close.
The VfB team, who recently won their test match against TSV Haching Munich 4-0, will field nine players for the upcoming game. Unfortunately, Vojin Cacic will be out due to a minor injury. Leonard "Lenny" Graven and Tim Peter, who played for Germany but were eliminated in the preliminary round of the World Championship, will join the team earlier than expected but will not be in Biberach for the game.
Meanwhile, Denis Kaliberda is the star transfer for WWK Volleys Herrsching in the game against VfB Friedrichshafen. The young Serbian setter, Aleksa Batak, felt great about playing again after a long injury break. He made his comeback last Tuesday evening.
Coach Adam Swaczyna is looking forward to the performance in Biberach. He is happy that the team can play again in the hall, citing the special atmosphere and the closeness of the audience. The coach expects the game to be a challenging one, but he is optimistic about his team's chances.
Tickets for the game are available only at the box office, with prices of five euros per adult and three euros reduced. For those who miss out on the tickets, the game will likely be broadcast live.
The VfB team has been preparing for six weeks with a focus on technique and strength training. The team's last game was a test match against TSV Haching Munich, which they won clearly, taking all four sets. The upcoming game against WWK Volleys Herrsching will be only their second test of the season for the Haflers.
Coach Swaczyna is confident that the team will put up a good fight. He believes that the team's hard work during the training period will pay off in the game. Fans are urged to come out in large numbers to support the team and witness an exciting game of volleyball.
