Ex-professionals rejoice in return to workforce - Veteran professionals relish return to active duty

Get ready to groove as "Let's Dance" makes its comeback this Friday at 8:15 PM post the Easter break, right here on RTL. This time around, the beloved dance competition will introduce the classic "Partner Switch", where stars will bust a move not only with their regular partners but also with a brand-new one. These fresh faces will be none other than the returning pros who were previously sent packing. Check out some of the rumored partners on Instagram:

  • Talisa Engel and Kathrin Menzinger, who were previously coupled with Roland Trettl, are ready to sizzle.
  • Other returning pros include Malika Dzumaev, paired with Diego Pooth, Christina Hänni with Fabian Hambüchen, and Sergiu Maruster dancing alongside Jeanette Biedermann. Marie Mouroum will team up with the eliminated Renata Lusin to form a formidable female duo.

Ouch! Injury Forces Exit

It was disheartening to learn that actress Simone Thomalla (60) will have to bow out of the competition due to a knee injury and will not be partnered with dance pro Evgeny Vinokurov (34) in the upcoming show. "With a heavy heart, I must resign from 'Let's Dance' due to my knee troubles," she declared in a statement. She showered Evgeny Vinokurov with gratitude for his guidance, support, and unending encouragement throughout their journey.

Stepping into their dance shoes for the ninth episode will be the previously eliminated pair of Christine Neubauer (62) and Valentin Lusin (38). Evgeny Vinokurov returns through the "Partner Switch" and will be seen dancing with SelfieSandra. In the partner switch dance, Christine Neubauer will be paired with returning pro Massimo Sinató.

And here's a twist, according to RTL, unlike in previous years, a celebrity will be eliminated during the "Partner Switch" episode, leaving only six pairs to compete in show nine.

As per the current search results, there are no specific details regarding which celebrity will be eliminated after the 8th show ("Partner Switch") on "Let's Dance". The sources merely discuss the new rules and dance pairs: - Two solo performances, one with the original pro and one with a pro who was previously eliminated in earlier episodes.[3][5] - An elimination is confirmed for this episode, but the name of the affected celebrity is not mentioned in the accessible information.[5]

An official pre-announcement of the elimination is not available as per the results. The decision is likely to be revealed during the live show on 25.04.2025.[2][5]*

  • Evgeny Vinokurov returns to "Let's Dance" as part of the partner switch, partnering with SelfieSandra for one performance.
  • Massimo Sinato will be Christine Neubauer's dance partner in the partner switch episode, as both are returning pros.
  • "Let's Dance" returns on RTL this Friday with the partner switch, featuring comebacks from eliminated pros and potential dance partners for the remaining celebrities.
