Last week, accomplished attorney Abbe Lowell announced the establishment of his own small legal practice, Lowell & Associates.
Lowell, known for his impressive career spanning nearly 40 years, has represented a slew of big-name clients—from the son of President Joe Biden to President Trump's son-in-law. His portfolio also includes Congress members, super lobbyists, and more.

"We aren't a partisan firm," Lowell clarified. "We're not here to make a political statement. We're here to respond to the current situation, which couldn't be more different than before."
The shift in focus on law firms is palpable—Trump has accused these firms of misusing the judicial system and pursuing without basis partisan attacks.
Some firms are standing up to him in court. Others are striking secret deals with the White House.
In an interview with ABC News, Trump discussed the deals some law firms have reached:
"These are the most powerful firms in the world," Trump said. "And they just sign whatever I put in front of 'em. I've never seen anything like it. I'm - I'm actually surprised myself in a certain way."
The controversial settlements haven't escaped the scrutiny of young lawyers. Two of them—Rachel Cohen and Brenna Trout Frey—previously worked at the Skadden firm. But they left recently, as Skadden agreed to do pro bono work worth $100 million for Trump in March.
Now, they're joining Lowell & Associates.
