Veolia Towers Hamburg's difficult season continues after a heavy defeat to Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana. The team suffered its fifteenth straight loss, this time falling 73–93 in the EuroCup. Coach Benka Barloschky now faces mounting pressure as the losing streak stretches on.
Hamburg started poorly, falling behind 2–11 in the opening minutes. Despite 19 points from newcomer Devon Daniels, the team struggled to close the gap. Defensive lapses allowed Ljubljana to go on a 12–1 run, pushing the halftime score to 41–24 in favour of the visitors.
The Towers never recovered in the second half. Ljubljana maintained control, cruising to a comfortable victory. Hamburg's struggles extend beyond this match—they have lost all 15 games this season, including eight straight in the EuroCup and six consecutive defeats in the BBL.
