Vengeful vigilante Frank Castle, known as the Punisher, returns to his lethal crusade against criminals.
Ready to dive back into the chaos? Here comes Punisher: Red Band, a new five-issue comic series that'll leave you reeling!
This wild ride is penned by none other than Ben Percy - the mastermind behind Wolverine and Hellverine with Julius Ohta, the legendary Iron Man artist, by his side! After a wave in 2023 that saw Frank Castle conquering the Hand ninja cult, discovering his wife was alive (who wanted a divorce, wow!), and a stint in Weirdworld, Frank is back in the concrete jungle of New York. But this time, he's got no recollections of his past life. No matter, though - he still knows how to make lives wilt faster than daisies in the desert!
Just like his small-screen self, this Frank is in for some gory adventures. With a "Red Band" warning, you're guaranteed an explicit dose of chaos. Percy himself declared, "I've been yearning to pen the Punisher for forever, and I'm all-in! Buckle up for hair-raising psychopaths and raw, on-the-streets carnage."
Marvel has never been too sure about Frank's future, mainly due to his Netflix series' timing post-mass shootings and the police's misuse of his symbol. However, in Daredevil: Born Again, they addressed this by having Frank exterminate those who misused his symbol, telling them they were nothing but trash.
We'll witness how Frank tackles the comic world when Punisher: Red Band hits shelves on September 10.
