Vengeful Vet Frank Castle, Notorious Punisher, Returns to Wreak Havoc
Introducing the gritty return of Frank Castle, Marvel's infamous anti-hero, to the comic book world in the upcoming series, Punisher: Red Band. This hard-boiled miniseries is set to be penned by the talented minds of Ben Percy (Wolverine) and Julius Ohta (Iron Man).
Our last rendezvous with Frank Castle took place in 2023, finding him in control of the Hand ninja cult, discovering his wife was, in fact, alive, and seeking a divorce, and getting whisked off to Weirdworld. In this impending comic series, Frank finds himself back in the bustling streets of New York, with no memories of his past life, but undeniably skilled at dishing out the same brutal justice that made him an icon.
Just like his TV counterpart, this Frank is expected to delve into a world seeped in blood and violence, deserving of the "Red Band" label, signifying its explicit content surpasses the typical comics.
