Varun Dhawan Displayed Dance Moves Prior to First Steps as a Baby
Dancing Heartthrob Varun Dhawan Gets Stepped Up
In a heartfelt nod to International Dance Day, Bollywood star Varun Dhawan shared a throwback video on Instagram, showcasing his agile footwork from the 2015 film "ABCD 2". The catchy tune "Naach Meri Jaan Naach" echoed through the post, amping up the nostalgia.
"Before I could walk, I could dance," was the fitting caption to his lively presentation.
Known as "Any Body Can Dance 2", the film is Remo D'Souza's directorial work, a sequel to the 2013 hit, ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. The stellar cast included Prabhu Deva, Varun, and Shraddha Kapoor, with Sushant Pujari making a noticeable addition.
The film borrows loosely from the real-life narrative of Suresh Mukund and Vernon Monteiro, the duo who established the fictional dance crew, The Kings, and brought home the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego[2].
Apart from his upcoming dance-centric project, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Varun is slated to star in a string of awaited films.
Mark your calendars for September 12, as Varun teams up with Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, and Maniesh Paul for Shashank Khaitan's Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari[3]. Khaitan, a name synonymous with romantic hits like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, and Dhadak, promises an entertaining journey.
Interestingly, this marks the second collaboration between Varun and Janhvi post their last venture, Bawaal, helmed by Nitesh Tiwari. Produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, the rom-com seems like a must-watch!
Varun will also share screen space with Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in the untitled David Dhawan production[1]. Expected to release on October 2, 2025, this film boasts an exciting ensemble cast, including Maniesh Paul, Kubbra Sait, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Chunky Pandey, and Rohit Saraf.
Another upcoming venture for Varun is Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh and scheduled for January 23, 2026[1]. Co-starring Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, the filming is already underway.
Lastly, although the release date has been postponed, the horror-comedy sequel, Bhediya 2, still aspires for a 2025 launch[4]. Stay tuned for more updates!
