Vanino District overhauls seven schools and kindergartens by 2026
Seven schools and kindergartens in Vanino District will receive major repairs in 2026, including new roofs, heating systems, and sports facilities. News of this development has been breaking, with funding secured from federal, regional, and private sources.
The district administration has already secured funds for the renovations. The Skazka and Golden Key kindergartens will undergo full overhauls. Meanwhile, the school in Oktyabrsky will get a new roof, and the Vysokogorny settlement school will have its heating system replaced.
An additional building for the local extracurricular centre will also be renovated. Two schools in Vanino, School No. 3 and School No. 4, will receive professional flooring in their sports halls. The district has also applied for further housing improvements through a competitive selection process in 2026.
Beyond educational upgrades, Vanino is improving living conditions for social sector workers. Three educator families—the Sklyars, Lazarenkos, and Fomenkos—have already moved into new apartments. These homes were built under the state programme Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas.
The repairs will modernise key educational facilities across Vanino District. The housing improvements for teachers and staff aim to support long-term community development. All projects are set to complete by the end of 2026.
