The first contestant is Vanessa Borck - Vanessa Borck joins *Let’s Dance* as first star of the 19th season

Vanessa Borck, a renowned influencer and former Princess Charming contestant, will participate in the 19th season of Let’s Dance. RTL has confirmed her as the first of 14 celebrities set to compete for the title of Dancing Star. The show returns in late February 2023 on RTL and RTL+.

Borck, who goes by 'nessiontour' online, has no professional dance background. Despite this, she described herself as both excited and nervous about the challenge. She sees the competition as an opportunity to learn new skills and work through her emotions.

RTL has so far only announced Borck as a participant. The identities of the remaining 13 contestants have not yet been revealed.

The new season will follow the usual format, with celebrities pairing up with professional dancers. Each week, they will perform routines in front of a live audience and judges, aiming to avoid elimination.

Borck’s participation marks her first time on a dance-focused show. The 19th season of Let’s Dance will begin in late February 2023, with RTL and RTL+ broadcasting the episodes. The full lineup of contestants will be announced in the coming weeks.
