On Wednesday, the "One Day at a Time" powerhouse shared a jaw-dropping montage of photos, expressing gratitude for her life's ups and downs. "The light at the end of the tunnel is finally here. I can see it. I feel it," she wrote, adding, "I am one lucky and grateful mofo."
What's more, Valerie posted that throwback lingerie picture she took in a hotel bathroom last year, declaring feelings of acceptance and appreciation for her reflection. “At some point I will talk about the madness my body has been through this year," she mused at the time.

When relationship expert Damona Hoffman suggested "If someone thinks you're too much, then they are not enough, and that is not your problem" during a makeover segment, Bertinelli echoed the sentiment, asking the audience, "How many people have been told they're too much?"
The studio erupted as everyone, including Drew Barrymore, raised their hands.
Bertinelli and Mike Goodnough dating history[1][3] was short-lived, lasting only 10 months from March 2024 to November. Goodnough discussed the split in April 2025 social media posts, calling it "the most painful experience"[1][2][4].
