UV, USC, and UC aim for a version 2.0 update
The Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) basketball games returned to the New Cebu Coliseum on Saturday, September 20, 2025, with an exciting lineup of matches. The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons faced a tough defeat against the University of San Carlos Warriors in the college division, losing 69-55.
The University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors, who currently have a 2-0 win record in the nba games, demonstrated their dominance early on. Meanwhile, the University of Visayas (UV) Green Lancers, the defending champions, will be aiming to regain the lead in the college division. They had a successful warm-up game on September 18, defeating the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers with a score of 74-70.
In the high school division, the UV Baby Green Lancers will take on the USC Baby Warriors in the first crazy games, scheduled to start at 12:30 pm. The second game will see the UC Baby Webmasters compete against the CITU Wildkittens.
Three more teams, USC (High School), UC (High School), and USJ-R (College), will also be participating in the nba games on the same day. The University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters, who have a 2-0 win record, will be eager to continue their winning streak.
The games will commence at specific times throughout the day, with the first game starting at 12:30 pm, followed by the second at 2:00 pm, the third at 3:30 pm, and the final game at 5:00 pm.
The Cesafi basketball games promise to be a thrilling event, with the New Cebu Coliseum playing host to some intense matches. Fans are encouraged to come out and support their favourite teams as they battle it out for the top spot.
