Utah Mammoth players surprise 12-year-old patient on her hospital birthday

Players from the Utah Mammoth recently visited Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital to bring cheer to young patients. Among them was Taylyn Healey, a 12-year-old who spent her birthday in hospital instead of at home. The team’s visit turned an ordinary afternoon into one filled with laughter and support.

Taylyn Healey celebrated her 12th birthday on November 25, but she was unable to mark the occasion with family and friends. Instead, she found herself in the hospital, where the Utah Mammoth arrived to brighten her day. The players sang happy birthday, made friendship bracelets, and spent time chatting with patients and their families.

The Utah Mammoth’s hospital visit left a lasting impression on Taylyn Healey and the other patients. By singing, crafting, and spending time together, the team turned a tough day into one filled with hope. Their commitment to community support continues to make a real difference in people’s lives.
