USAA and NFL Extend Partnership to Honor Military Community

In a move to continue their long-standing commitment to the military community, USAA and the National Football League (NFL) have extended their partnership for the Salute to Service initiative. This partnership, which has been in place for 14 years, will now continue through the 2025 NFL season and beyond.

Juan C. Andrade, the president and CEO of USAA, emphasized the importance of showing appreciation for the military's sacrifice and having their backs. He expressed pride in the partnership, which provides unique experiences for service members, veterans, and their families.

As part of the extended partnership, USAA will remain an official Salute to Service partner, helping to create moments of pride and connection for the military through NFL engagements. Starting in the 2026 season, USAA will increase its support by donating an additional $10,000 for each Salute to Service award finalist.

New initiatives launching in 2026 will expand access to NFL events and deepen military-focused programming worldwide, aligning with the NFL’s growth, including its International Series. The partnership highlights USAA’s unique background as a military-focused insurer founded by Army officers, making the collaboration especially meaningful.

NFL leaders emphasize the importance of USAA’s ongoing role in supporting service members and veterans and enhancing the league’s military recognition efforts globally. Football serves as a unifying force to honor and support the military community, and this partnership extension is seen as a visible sign of respect and gratitude towards those who serve.

Some of the unique experiences offered by USAA include events at the Super Bowl, training camps, and military installations. USAA has hosted NFL Combine-style events at military installations in Germany and England, as well as Super Bowl watch parties at international locations. Service members have the opportunity to interact with NFL players at USAA activations.

In addition, USAA takes service members to NFL games in various international locations and provides "Salute to Service" experiences for approximately 10,000 veterans and military community members each year. The partnership between USAA and the NFL will also collaborate to host annual overseas events during the league's International Series.

A new one-hour show focusing on Salute to Service programs will premiere in 2026. Notable moments from the partnership include Tampa Bay Buccaneers legend Mike Alstott signing a service member's shirt at the USAA NFL Boot Camp.

The extended partnership between USAA and the NFL reaffirms USAA’s commitment to providing unique NFL experiences to service members, veterans, and their families, both domestically and internationally. USAA will continue to be the leader in military appreciation through the 2025 NFL season and beyond.
