US tour of Sleep Token kicks off with the presentation of unperformed tracks, selling out venues; catch the setlist and video recordings now
Sleep Token made history this year as they headlined the prestigious Download festival in Donington, UK in June. The band, known for their enigmatic performances and captivating music, took the stage on the final day of the festival, following performances by Green Day on the Friday and Korn on the Sunday.
Their setlist for the Download festival included a total of 16 tracks, with two live debuts of the songs Provider and Infinite Baths, both from their latest album Even In Arcadia. The album, which was released in an unspecified date, topped the charts in 11 countries, including the UK, the US, Austria, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Canada, and the Netherlands.
The performance at Download festival was not the band's first headline spot. They had previously kicked off their sold-out US arena tour on September 16, 2022, at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia. The tour, which continues tonight at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida, has been met with critical acclaim.
Holly Wright, a journalist from Metal Hammer, gave Even In Arcadia a glowing four-star review. Korn guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch also praised Sleep Token's Download performance, describing it as "a powerful and captivating show".
The band's performance at Gas South Arena was larger than a typical Slipknot stage, showcasing Sleep Token's growing popularity and the scale of their productions. The setlist for their show in Duluth, Georgia, included the two live debuts of Provider and Infinite Baths, as well as 14 other tracks from their discography.
As Sleep Token continues their US tour, fans can expect more captivating performances and the possibility of more live debuts. For those who missed their Download festival performance, there's still a chance to catch them live on their current tour.
