US contestant JaNa Craig expresses dismay over split from Kenny on Love Island USA, calling it unfortunate, revolting, and disheartening.
JaNa Craig, one of the original Islanders from Love Island USA season 6, has taken to Instagram Stories to announce her split with fellow cast member Kenny Rodriguez. The news comes after the two spent every day together for the past month and a half, and just days before the premiere of season 7 of Love Island USA.
According to Craig, the relationship between her and Rodriguez was not genuine from the start. This revelation comes as a shock to fans, who have followed their romance since it was highlighted on the first season of Peacock's Beyond the Villa. The show, which continues to air new episodes in the aftermath of the breakup, delves into the lives of the Islanders outside the villa.
Craig hinted that the breakup is worse than fans think, mentioning that she discovered someone she loved isn't who she thought they were. This sentiment was echoed by Rodriguez, who expressed that he is not concerned about their separation because of their strong communication and trust.
The couple weathered relationship drama, including the fallout from Casa Amor, and formed connections with other cast members before Rodriguez caught Craig's eye. Craig was particularly close with Coye Simmons and Connor Newsum.
