Metallica and Blood Donation: Saving Lives in Steel and Fury

Urgent plea for blood donations by the music group. - Urges community to donate blood

Get ready, rockers! Metallica and the American Red Cross are joining forces for an epic collaboration on their M72 tour. The iconic band is urging fans to donate blood before the concert in select cities across North America, benefiting hospitals and potentially saving lives.

This blood donation drive will take place in some fantastic cities like Nashville, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Denver, among others. In certain locations, blood donation will even happen within the concert venue while the crew sets up the stage, according to the Red Cross website. Interested donors can also book appointments beforehand through the Red Cross website.

Limited-Edition Swag and A Clear Conscience

Donating blood isn't just about saving lives - it also scores you a limited-edition Metallica T-shirt! Our metal maestros announced on social media that everyone who donates blood during these events will receive a special Metallica T-shirt while supplies last.

Red Cross representatives expressed their gratitude for Metallica's support in a press release, stating, "Metallica and their foundation aim to make every tour stop a better place, and this selfless act of encouraging fans to donate blood will leave a life-saving legacy in many communities."

Stay tuned as Metallica embarks on their tour across the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK starting next week. Last year, they made a stop in Germany, performing in Munich, and two years prior, they rocked out in Hamburg.
