Urban basketball enthusiasts Denis Pasler, Pyotr Fradkov, Alexander Potapov, and Andrey Kirilenko debuted the first street basketball center in the Ural region.

Nizhny Tagil, Russia - The Ural Street Basketball Center, a new sports facility, has officially opened its doors in Nizhny Tagil, following the inaugural ceremony attended by several high-profile guests.
The center, boasting six 3x3 basketball courts complete with spectator stands, has been built with the support of the Russian Basketball Federation and meets the highest quality standards suitable for both regional and international competitions.
Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Denis Pasler, noted the courts' exceptional quality, stating, "The courts meet the highest standards and are of high quality."
The solemn ceremony was graced by Pyotr Fradkov, Chairman of PSB Bank and Vice-President of the Russian Olympic Committee; Alexander Potapov, General Director of UralVagonZavod; and Andrei Kirilenko, President of the Russian Basketball Federation.
During the sports part of the ceremony, Denis Pasler and Andrei Kirilenko showcased their skills by testing the ring and the board of one of the courts with long-range shots. Both were accurate, scoring three-pointers.
As a special memento, all honored guests signed a ball during the ceremony, which will remain on display at UralVagonZavod. Additionally, Pyotr Fradkov presented Denis Pasler with a commemorative basketball jersey bearing our region's number.
The workout area within the center has already been utilized by locals, making it a valuable addition to the community. The Ural Street Basketball Center, with its international-level facilities, is set to contribute significantly to the growth and development of basketball in Nizhny Tagil.
