Ural region farmers have reaped nearly 3 million metric tons of grains during the harvest season.

The Ural Federal District is experiencing a successful harvest season this year, with higher yields reported for potatoes, open-field vegetables, and grain compared to last year.
According to the latest reports, the Sverdlovsk region has seen impressive results, with over 165,000 tons of potatoes and 35,000 tons of open-field vegetables collected so far. In the same region, an astounding 216,000 tons of grain have been harvested.
The Presidential Envoy to the UrFo, Artem Zhogin, is overseeing the harvesting process, ensuring that it proceeds intensively and according to plan. The weather conditions in the district have been favourable for the farmers, contributing to the successful harvest.
As of September 16, the total amount of potatoes and vegetables collected in the Sverdlovsk region exceeds the amount of grain collected there. However, the yields for grain, potatoes, and open-field vegetables in the region have not been specified.
The harvesting campaign is continuing in the Sverdlovsk region, with the district as a whole currently in the process of grain harvesting. The Ural Federal District, as a whole, has collected nearly 3 million tons of grain, with the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions achieving the highest harvest yields, collecting approximately 2.5 million tons of grain between them.
As of September 16, cereals and legumes have been harvested from 40% of the sown areas in the Ural Federal District, with the yield currently at 24.9 centners per hectare. This year's yield is higher than last year's, marking a significant improvement for the farmers in the region.
The ongoing harvesting of potatoes and open-field vegetables is expected to further boost the district's production figures. The harvesting campaign in the Ural Federal District is progressing well, and farmers are optimistic about the prospects for the remainder of the season.
